LIFE ISN’T ABOUT FINDING YOURSELF; IT IS ABOUT CREATING YOURSELF.

This is my story of my life after a brain tumour. I am healthy now and beyond grateful to have more time. However, I have learned that time is a valuable commodity. Something that I didn’t fully appreciate until recently.

No sooner did I get out of an abusive relationship, I found myself in the ER. A blood clot and then 3 weeks later a brain tumour. At 40 years old I had to make changes. I had to take action. I had to stop talking and thinking and planning and start DOING

In order to travel and spend time with my dog, Jasper, I bought my first RV. This was the best way for me to encompass all the things I love. In order to make this work, I had to sell my house and make some pretty big changes to my big city lifestyle. Downsizing and taking a good hard look at myself and what really mattered to me what not as easy at I thought it would be.

As an automotive journalist, cars are a big piece of what I do. I get to drive over 50 new vehicles a year. Road trips with my family are what got me interested in cars. I have a deep love of travel and meeting new people. My life is pretty great and I don’t plan to take one second of it for granted anymore.

DREAMS ARE JUST IDEAS UNTIL YOU DECIDE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

I will share my mistakes, my laughter and even some tears. Authenticity is something I value. I I will share the vehicles I get to review and all the cool shit I am going to check out while I am driving them. Human connection is amplified through stories and I have a lot of them to tell.

I have wasted too much of my time trying to ‘figure it all out’ and find my one true passion and calling in life. But fuck it! Here is a secret – Your life doesn’t have to be about one thing in order for it to be great. I am a personal trainer, dog lover, automotive journalist, world traveler, communicator and more.

DON’T BE AFRAID OF BEGIN DIFFERENT THAT EVERYBODY ELSE… BE AFRAID OF BEING THE SAME.
